The morning biking-only tour starts at the Kayak Bike and Brew Lounge at 436 West Front Street. Check-in for the tour begins at 10:30AM and the biking portion will begin at 10:45AM.
Guests will be provided with winterized bikes and will be guided along the TART trail for approximately 20 minutes to reach the first destination, The Filling Station Microbrewery.
Here, guests will have around 45 minutes to enjoy the craft beers, ciders, pizzas, and salads offered by The Filling Station. Afterwards, guests will hop back on their bikes and ride along the TART trail next to Boardman Lake for 10-15 minutes to reach the second destination, Right Brain Brewery.
Here, guests will have approximately 45 minutes to sample Right Brain’s wide variety of craft beers. The biking portion will continue for another 10 minutes to reach the third destination, Rare Bird Brewery.
Guests will have 30 minutes at Rare Bird to enjoy craft beers and cocktails offered at the brewery. Finally, the tour will conclude with a bike ride back to the Kayak Bike and Brew Lounge, arriving around 1:30PM.
The afternoon tour begins at the Kayak Bike & Brew lounge at 436 W. Front St. Guests will meet at the lounge and check-in with the guide. Check-in will start approximately 30 minutes before the departure time to allow enough time for gearing up and enjoying a beverage. Winterized bikes and snowshoes will be provided.
The first part of the adventure is a 15-minute bike ride through town and into the Grand Traverse Commons. The group will arrive at the first stop, Left Foot Charley Barrel Room.
Here, guests will have 40 minutes to indulge in the wonderful wine and ciders offered by Left Foot Charley. After enjoying some wine, the group will bundle up and begin a snowshoe adventure through the scenic Commons wilderness trail located directly behind the Barrel Room.
The snowshoeing portion will start at 3:00PM and last for approximately 30 minutes, leading to the next destination, Earthen Ales Brewery. Guests will have approximately 45 minutes at Earthen Ales Brewery to experience their craft beers. At 4:30PM, the group will gear up again and depart Earthen Ales Brewery on their bikes for the last leg of the tour through the Commons.
The tour will end in the heart of downtown at the Kayak Bike and Brew lounge promptly before 5:00PM.
We are thrilled to announce our new Bike and Hike tour that will take you off the beaten path where you will explore Traverse City in a whole new way. This tour is designed to be a fun and unique way to see the area from a different perspective. Our tour will take you to some of the best breweries in the area and you will have the opportunity to try some new brews all while enjoying some beautiful biking and hiking trails along the way.
Our tour is designed for any level of biker or hiker, so don’t worry if you’re not an expert. Our experienced guides will be there to guide you along the way while creating a memorable adventure you won’t soon forget.
Participants will meet at our downtown Traverse City location (KBB Lounge) for check-in and bike preparation and from there will be guided through Traverse City on bikes for approximately 20 minutes to our first destination, Left Foot Charley. After enjoying some of their delicious wines and ciders, you will then be guided on a fun hike behind the Grand Traverse Commons. After your guided hike, you will then get back on your bike and ride to Earthen Ales where you will be able to try their amazing assortment of beers and ciders. Hike and Bike tours begin at Noon and end at 3pm, we ask that you arrive at our location at 436 West Front Street at 11:30am for the three hour experience!!

Participants will meet at our downtown Traverse City location (KBB Lounge 436 West Front Street) for check-in and bike preparation and from there will be guided through Traverse City on bikes for approximately 20 minutes to our first destination, Earthen Ales. It is here that you will get to experience a wide array of beers and ciders. From here, you will be guided to our next stop, Loco Boys. Here, you can eat and drink like a “loco”. There is something unique for every palate! After Loco Boys you will set off for your final stop, and perhaps most beautiful stop of the tour, the rooftop of Hotel Indigo. Prepare yourself for incredible views, amazing food and craft cocktails all while getting a bird’s eye view of downtown TC like you’ve never seen before. We will depart Hotel Indigo on our bikes for the last leg of the tour, ending back at the KBB Lounge. Hike and Bike tours begin at 5pm and end at 8pm, we ask that you arrive at our location at 436 West Front Street at 4:30pm for the three hour experience!!
